Sake & Cheese Pairing with That's Life Gourmet | Vancouver Event Photographer

On February 25, That's Life Gourmet held a sake and cheese pairing with Fukumitsuya's sakes at Minami Restaurant in Yaletown. Junichi Yageta came to Vancouver to showcase the Fukumitsuya brewery and its wonderful sakes. Here is a preview of what went down at Minami that evening. It was a sold out event! Make sure you keep up with TLG and their events throughout the year because they are not only very informative but fun and enjoyable too!

Food Photography | Toronto Food Photographer

For my final portfolio in my Directed Studio class at OCAD U, I decided to embark on a new adventure: exploring food photography. I am hoping to make food look as delicious as they taste. This particular series was presented as my final portfolio of my first semester. The first image you see, was shot in Little India in downtown Toronto, where I got to experience the spicy and sweet taste of Puris. The images following were shot at the Chef's House by George Brown College. The students at the restaurant are chefs in training, who produced a wonderful lunch menu for me to photograph. Enjoy! Scarpetta

Owned by celebrity chef, Scott Conan, this delectable restaurant brings joy to foodies out there. Of course most would agree that being at the Thompson Hotel could mean some $ signs, but totally worth having the pleasure of eating their handmade-fresh pastas. Thanks to uncle Bryan I was able to try many of their pastas - including the special of the night: Rabbit Ravioli, which was superb. Cannot forget their creamy polenta served with mushrooms served in truffle jus. Enjoy the food through these yummy photos! [gallery]
